I received an email from Debbie and it caught my
attention, I’ve shared it and my response below.
(She gave me permission…)
“When we merged our ACT databases together,
all of the contacts from Jill’s database filed into one
contact group in my system. Can you tell me how
to move contacts from one group to another?”

I am in such PAIN, trying to understand how to use the report designer in ACT! for Web. While we purchased this upgrade for many (still) good reasons–security, easy access, ease of adding new users–my work as administrator grew and I was not prepared! Understatement here!
Do you have a seminar, a video–a something–that I can use to train myself? I am desparate, really!

I can understand you feeling overwhelmed. There truly is a lot to the application, and the ACT report designer is a whole other element of learning once you get into it. Getting ACT Software Support for it isn’t very easy either.
Unfortunately, I don’t know of anything that is available at no charge when it comes to this type of information. Have you tried calling ACT directly for support?
If you are interested in paid services, you might consider the ACT Coaching Club where there are a host of videos as a part of membership. Another option might be to contact an ACT consultant in your area (www.act.com/acc), or ACT Software Support at http://www.actasap.net.
