ACT Update: New Patch Released for ACT 2008 Users

For those who are using ACT 2008 Software Sage has made it’s latest update available from the ACT application…  You might notice this window popup in the lower right hand corner of your PC:

Here are some of the high-level items addressed in this patch release:

-Drag and drop rescheduling from the calendar to the mini-calendar.
-ACT Premium users: “Added functionality in ACT! Scheduler, that gives the user the ability to “keep only the last X backup files” for the selected database. Older backups are deleted on the preference setting. ”

-Performance and usability enhancements pertaining to ACT Outlook integration.
-Inline editing of opportunity cost and price fields is back.

-Pocket PC, “Vista OS and Windows Mobile 2003 device with Pocket PC Link no longer causes the ACT! PPC Link to crash during sync. ”
-Pocket PC, “Corrected an ACT! Link for Pocket PC Vista install issue that erroneously displayed the error “You must have Active Sync installed before installing ACT! Link for PPC.” This no longer occurs on the Vista OS and the install finishes appropriately.”
