Ok, so I heard back from customers and subscribers, and the video from the previous post needed further clarification. And yes, it is really true that Sage and I are offering this compelling deal on the ACT database software. This deal only available here.

In addition to what Sage is doing on the pricing for ACT! 2009 and ACT! Platinum Care customers, I’m including over $400 in bonuses:
1.) Broadlook’s Contact Capture $209 Value
2.) “From the Trenches, ACT! 2009 Install Best Practices” video. $97 value
3.) 3 Months of Swiftpage Email service, no cost. $135-$234 value
4.) 2 PDF Articles, “3 Things to Avoid When Mailing Your List” and “5 Things to Consider When Publishing a Newsletter” $27 value

You might be uncertain if ACT! 2009 is for you, may I direct you to WhatsNewWithACT.com where you can see a review, and my interview with Sage Software’s GM of CRM Solutions North America, Dave van Toor.

Here is the updated video.

Well done, and well explained. Certainly sounds like Sage (and you) have put together a compelling offer. How soon do I get the software and your bonuses if I order through you?

    Tom-

Thanks for the feedback. I’m giving customers access to the download links and bonuses immediately after they have completed the transaction.

If Corporate Edition is the flavor of choice (Premium EX seems to be the favorite), they are slated to ship it next week. Since they are now including ACT! for Web with Corporate Edition Premium products they decided to wait to ship a single box, as ACT! for Web development seems to follows ACT! for Windows by a few weeks.

For ACT! 2009 Standard users, the box (with license) is usually at their doorstep within a few days. The software can be run in trial mode for 30 days, and then easily activated with the license when it arrives.

    Hope that helps.

Travis, After reviewing the webinar, and the grid chart of the upgrade comparison, I have decided to pass on the upgrade at this time. I don’t use outlook my mail goes through Juno and it looks to me most of the improvements relate to Outlook.
If I am wrong point me in the right direction.

Since I am using Act 2008 V 10, I am good for now.

    Thanks for the call yesterday.

    Lisa-

No worries. But did you get that as an ACT! 2008 user you can simply buy the ACT! Platinum Care for $49 ($69 for Premium) by 9/30/2008, and get ACT! 2009 at no cost? (It’s here)

I would consider upgrading just for the improved performance, and enhanced lookups, not to mention my bonuses, or the other benefits of ACT! Platinum Care.

Thanks, as always, for your feedback.

    Lisa-

I will give it a try if as you say it’s only going to cost me the Care package. But…..

I am beginning to think I am a moron. I have tried shopping numerous times and it never nets down to just the cost of the care.

You showed how it works on you webinar, and it doesn’t for me.
Why doesn’t the net price when I put in all the codes when I buy the Act 9 upgrade, and the Act premium care come out to be just the price of the care?

I will be glad to give you my credit card and you can submit the order for me.!
    What do you think?

    Lisa-

No worries, it can be a bit confusing, hang in there (to be honest it took me a while to figure out this whole promotion)

The straight forward answer is, as an ACT! 2008 customer you only have to purchase ACT! Platinum Care by 9/30, and *Sage* will send you the ACT! 2009
    software *automatically*.

So, when shopping, no need to add anything to your cart accept ACT! Platinum Care. Make sense? After placing your order, I’ll send you the bonuses and download links for everything.

I think you’ll be fine, but if you still have issues, call us from one of the “Click to Call” buttons on the website at http://www.actasap.net

    Travis
Is the broadlook address capture $209 value) the perpetual license or the one year license? Let me know I’m ready to buy. thanks

  9. Travis on September 18th, 2008

    Gene-

It is an annual license renewed at no cost. That means you request the renewal from them after one year, they send you a new code to plugin and your good for another year (no money necessary).

    Does that answer your question?
