Well, it’s here. The new iPhone. It seems Mr. Jobs and the folks at Apple have done it again. They’ve got many whipped up in a frenzy for this new device which is tagged as “Twice as Fast. Half the Price.” Clever marketing, and based on the video I watched from their World Wide Developers Conference a few weeks back, it certainly seems impressive, and I do think the upgrade is warranted on it’s own, beyond that third parties are making it even more compelling. ACT Update: New Patch Released for ACT 2008 Users

For those who are using ACT 2008 Software Sage has made it’s latest update available from the ACT application… You might notice this window popup in the lower right hand corner of your PC:
Here are some of the high-level items addressed in this patch release:
-Drag and drop rescheduling from the calendar to the mini-calendar.
-ACT Premium users: “Added functionality in ACT! Scheduler, that gives the user the ability to “keep only the last X backup files” for the selected database. Older backups are deleted on the preference setting. ”
-Performance and usability enhancements pertaining to ACT Outlook integration.
-Inline editing of opportunity cost and price fields is back.
