The most important part in a usability testing is the test result. Hence, all effort must be exerted to come out successful on this part. You will see here the end product of your money, time and energy invested.
It is in the test result where descriptions are written about the note takers and facilitators reports. You will also know in this data which task has the lowest and highest completion rates. Summaries of all successfully accomplished tasks given are also included here. In fact, it is even better to include all tasks done and illustrate the success rate in every task in a table. Each metric must have similar models. And in every metric must include the percentage or numbers of participants who accomplished certain tasks. You may employ a bar chart for this. To show the length of time each scenario was completed, you must stipulate the average time taken for each of them. Aside from all the above mentioned data, illustrative comments from participants and satisfaction results will also be very useful.
Remember that you will be basing your products improvement on the test results of your usability testing. Hence, you must lay out your report well so it will serve its purpose. If you fail on this part, you will be wasting a lot of your invested time, effort and financial resources.
